How to Choose Between Two Mr. Rights. Part I

While some women can't get a single Mr. Right's attention out of a long line of prospective beaus, others just can't help themselves from having a headache for not knowing who to favor when two or more gorgeous gentlemen come after them. (Life can be so unfair, huh?) But hey, there's nothing to worry about if you have this soul-boggling who-should-be-the-one dilemma.

Now all you need is to go over the checklist that follows. Then, you should be able to single out a very lucky guy to whom you would commit your heart. Check each guy carefully.

1. Bearing, speech and gesture

These are few of the first things we notice on anyone. Does he carry himself well on different occasions and situations? Does he choose the right words when he talks with you? Do his gestures suggest civility or impertinence in character? If you would look closely in the bearing, speech and gesture of two different individuals, you can surely distinguish one from another. You may think that these things aren't important in romance, but hey, partnership is not an all-romance thing. It is about being one with another and that means connecting with the other person. Do you see yourself walking with a slouch guy with unkempt hair and dirty shoes?

2. Humor and wit

Listen when he speaks. Does he make sense? Notice his choice of topics. Are those the kind of topics you would want to discuss with him? Doesn't he get too far out? Doesn't he bore you? Can he make you laugh? Maybe he's just trying too hard to impress you. Is he being himself? Learn to identify a man who's being natural from a fake one. Take your time, he will reveal himself if you would only be patient, and you'll get to know the real him.

3. Character

As you take more time with a guy, you get to discover more things about him. It definitely takes quite some time before you could dig anyone's character. And when you do, there are three major things that you should find if your heart is at stake--restraint, strength and patience. One, a person who exhibits restraint hardly loses his cool even on top of head-blowing situations. He's got the temper and grace even under pressure. It only means that you would hardly find yourself talking with an angst-filled monster. A person who is strong and patient never gives up. If the two of you decide to come together, no storm or hurricane could ever set you apart.

4. Compatibility

Sometimes, even if you can see nothing wrong with a guy, you still can't say that he's really the one for you. Sometimes, you'll just feel that something is wanting, something is left empty. This "something" is the compatibility factor. Psychologists agree that we get attracted with the opposite sex who complements our attitude and behavior. However, there are also cases when women want men who behave the same way as they do. What's important is you know what can make you happy.
